Agriculture CET or Agriculture Common Entrance Test is an agriculture-university based entrance exam conducted each year by the different agricultural universities for the selection of eligible students. This is a regular examination conducted for the selection of the students of the same agricultural university.

This examination is organised for all the UG, PG and PhD students. The Agriculture CET examination is conducted for…

  • Students who have cleared UG.
  • Students Who have cleared PG.

Students who have cleared UG

In an agriculture UG degree program, students are honoured with the following degrees:

Degree B. Sc. Agriculture

Degree B. Sc. Horticulture

Degree B. Tech., or Agricultural Engineering

Degree Dairy Technology (UG)

All students who have cleared UG, now have to clear CET or Common Entrance Test to get admission in PG degree program scheduled for minimum 2 years.

Students who have cleared PG

In an agriculture PG degree program, students are honoured with the same degrees of higher rank after the completion of final research works:

Degree M. Sc. Agriculture

Degree M. Sc. Horticulture

Degree M. Tech., or Agricultural Engineering

Degree Dairy Technology (PG)

After the completion of final year’s research work, a student has to clear CET, again; if he/she has to do more research works deeply on that particular field. This is known as Agriculture PhD.

Hence, this is a common test for the students of all the facilities available in an agricultural university.
