2.1. Mushroom Bed

2.2. Mushroom bed structure

2.3. Mycelium of mushroom

The mycelium of mushroom is a beneficial fungus. The appearance of fungal growth can be seen few days after the spawning. The colour and appearance are identical. It is brown and fuzzy.

2.4. Pinheads of mushroom

Small pinheads can be seen growing 4-5 days after the appearance and growth of fungus. A number of pinheads can be seen developing at a one place over developed mycelium.

2.5. Harvesting of mushroom

Mushroom should be harvested at developed stage of pinhead. It should not be delayed. Fully opened mushroom are not preferred.

2.6. Over developed mushroom

Mushroom pinheads are fully developed and opened. These are ideal for local markets.

Fungal diseases are the major problem in paddy straw mushroom.
